Due to this program I have saved my boyfriend's life numerous times and am now happy to report that he is in a methadone program and doing well. Working a good job paying his bills has his own apt./responsibilities. A lot of ppl are quick to give up on addicts and say to just let us die.. Well it's cuz of kind hearted ppl like you all that run these programs that a lot of us get 2nd an 3rd chances but we do recover.. Drug use/overdose is still a big problem in my city and I will always continue to do my part to help an addict in need (without enabling). I try to keep narcan on me at all times and educate/raise awareness about harm reduction and MAT.
